FAQ

In most cases, yes, as long as you give credit in some way, such as linking to my YouTube channel or to the YouTube video of the song you're using. So if you want to use a track as background music in your videos, or as montage music, I don’t mind, as long as you credit!
My music can also be found in the music libraries of most short-format platforms, and if you use the music that way, the it automatically credits me, so you’re good to go c:
Exceptions:
I don’t allow re-uploads of my music, or re-uploads with minor edits, like extended versions, bass boosts or 8D conversions. In general,I don't allow my songs to be used by music promotion channels or other content aggregators.
If you wish to use one of my covers/remixes as an instrumental backing track for your own vocal or instrument cover that’s just on YouTube you must credit me in the title of your video as well.
If the cover is to be distributed elsewhere (e.g. Spotify, Apple Music) a written agreement must be made.

I do not recommend using covers/remixes for streams, as streaming platforms have historically not allowed them.
Other than that, my original music is safe, but due to how copyright laws work in regards to ownership of covers and remixes, you would need permission from both the owner of the cover and the owner of the original song in order to use a cover or remix 100% safely.
I can’t guarantee that my covers/remixes are safe.
Video game companies very rarely enforce their right to take down videos or streams that use covers/remixes though, and so far I haven’t heard of anyone getting a legitimate claim on a video from using my covers/remixes.
Whether you want to take the risk or not is entirely up to you.
Using any of my music for videos or streams on Facebook/Instagram is not safe and may cause an automatic copyright claim (unless the music was added through their music library). I’ve set this up in an attempt to keep the music out of scams and other harmful videos, as this has been a problem in the past.

I’ve made a spreadsheet with all the gear I use:
-
Between 1 - 3 weeks. It depends on how complex it is and if I get stuck while making it
-
I use Photoshop and Procreate to create visual assets (I commission others to make the art from time to time too), and I use After Effects to make the videos.
-
There’s a built-in effect in After Effects called Audio Spectrum that I use to make them.

I don't take requests, and I can’t make any promises regarding which songs I’ll remix in the future. You can still let me know which songs you'd like to hear covered in the future, I have a suggestion box which you can find here: https://forms.gle/bUR3Q51WNZD6m4wp7

It almost always depends on licensing.
I try to get all my covers licensed and published through Soundrop, but if the track can't be licensed, there's really nothing I can do about it.
-
I haven’t issued an official pronunciation guide, so at the moment there’s no right or wrong way to pronounce it.
Just say it in a way that feels right to you! -
I prefer not to say much about that, as I’d rather be judged based on my actions and my music, rather than to have my actions or music judged based on who I am.

I used to have a Discord Server, but I don’t have one anymore
Despite the amazing help I got along the way, running the server ended up taking time away from making music.I still have a Discord user, but it’s mainly used to communicate with clients, discuss projects with artists and to have the occasional chat with old friends.
